Sergeant Fastenluce and the Printenpays are my own invention. The events in the flat above Mrs Pushnpull’s pram emporium are describe by me in a previous story, but anyone familiar with the Professor will be able to guess at what happened. I know the story should be complete in one chapter, but the story doesn’t know that.
