And the Television Multiverse will Never be the Same!This is going to start off as a prompt more than anything, see what you all think of the idea.The year is 1999, six months after the NewsRadio series finale, and that show's intrepid but constantly embattled News Director Dave Nelson attends a radio conference in Rutherford Ohio, at Pendleton University, Matthew Brock following like a little puppy. There they run into Dave's cousin, the sarcastic and somewhat notorious Roz Doyle, the producer of a popular East Coast radio show starring the lovably pompous Dr. Frasier Crane, who also is attending along with their KACL friends Gil Chesterton and Bob 'Bulldog' Briscoe. Things start to get weird when they meet the incredibly eccentric (to say the least) Dick Solomon and his equally strange family...Also in attendance are Dave's ex-girlfriend Lisa Miller and the rest of their WNYX friends, consisting of Beth, Joe, Max and Mr. Jimmy James, leading to much confusion on Dave's part as he struggles with his lingering feelings for his very married ex (he doesn't know that she's separated and dealing with her own feelings for him likewise).

This is a cross-over fic between News Radio and Night Court. Takes place in around season 9 of Night Court - after the Harry/Christine kiss in Central Park and Season 4 of News Radio - Dave has been demoted from News Director to Bill's Producer. In Night Court Christine was married (and had a kid) with Tony the cop. Harry followed them end of season 8 as he was concerned about her. He was mugged and caught by Tony 'stalking her' Tony & Christine decided to be just friends and it doesn't take HIM long to move on to one Lisa Miller. Lisa has been keeping her new man a secret from everyone at work including her ex-bf Dave. Dave, who still loves her, decides to follow her around after work - keeping an eye on her but being fairly discrete about it.... Until one 'fatal' night in Central Park. Tony, angry about being 'stalked' decides to arrest Dave and well brings him before Judge Harry Stone. Christine is still the defence attorney so it kinda pits Christine vs her ex husband. It also brings in court Lisa and Dave. Nobody else at the news station is aware of Dave's arrest or the fact that Lisa's new bf is the plaintiff......
