Callonetta let herself catch her breath, making sure that tears were in her eyes before she continued. She used her right hand to pluck through a few minor sequences on her lute. "Sometimes," she started pointedly, looking towards a specific corner of the pub, "I can still hear his voice." There was a thump and then a yelp but thankfully, no one besides Callonetta seemed to notice.

This means that, for the Starks:- Robb, Jon (and Theon) have entered adulthood- Arya and Sansa’s relationship has matured, as have the girls themselves- Rickon has grown up around his family, so he’s not as wild- Ned and Catelyn weren’t planning to stop at Rickon, and here, they don’t have toAnd, most importantly…- Bran will know exactly who’s talking and what’s going on when he climbs up the broken towerFor Sandor, his first meeting with Sansa is with a woman flowered, not a girl. Not a serious fic, really, and it will feature arm wrestling, ceilidh-like dancing, blacksmiths, and Bobby B playing the game of thrones for… reasons. It’s more or less book canon with an odd line or two from the show, and many moments have been taken apart and refitted together differently. I’ve also inserted quite a few real-world historical moments with a Westerosi spin. As it’s a complete reset, the burn will be seriously slow. Also, Major Character Death warning doesn't affect Sansan...Starts with Robert's visit to Winterfell; ends after the war against the Others.

Elrond has his own, strange quest to embark upon before leaving Middle-earth. He has not seen his foster father in thousands of years. Though Maglor is said to wander by the sea, no one has heard any news of him in an Age. Elrond does not seek to find or destroy any object, powerful or otherwise. What he wants is both more simple and more complex: to take his father with him, or wish him farewell. He does not know if Maglor can be found, but that will not stop him from making the attempt. The lonely shores call to him, and so does a song in the distance...Written for the Tolkien Reverse Summer Bang 2020, this work is a collaboration, based on this illustration by mallornblossom (now felixwhetsel).

Between all the half-hummed melodies and scratched out words to be had over the course of decades, Geralt knows how Jaskier’s songs work and how they are made. He’s the subject of them, more often than not, and he can’t count the number of hours spent falling asleep to Jaskier’s strumming while he huddles closer to the dying fire to read what he’d scribbled so far. Or: I figured Filavandrel's lute probably has some kind of magic in it.
