When Dave was thirteen both of his parents were killed in an accident. In an attempt to avoid being separated, the three brothers go to New York, where Bro gets a job and works day and night to provide. When they get discovered by a teacher, though, they all get placed into separate foster homes and they fight to reunite while learning to live with the hand life's dealt them. It's bad enough that Dave isn't allowed to contact his brothers, he also has to learn to get along with the six other kids that have been shoved into a foster home with him. It might be easy enough if he hadn't come to the home complete with a new-found hatred for the entire world. Or The one where Dave gets sent to a foster home and falls in love with the messy-haired dork who's tragic story is painfully alike his own.
