She cried, she wailed… she screamed. Her heart was beating so loud and there was some ringing in her ears, and an agonic pain piercing through her skull. People were grabbing her by the arms, trying to put some distance between her and the corpse that was on the other side of the door; but she kept squirming and kicking. Her voice was breaking… until it was gone.It felt like her heart exploded.And her body fell limp in the guards’ arms.… When she next opens her eyes, she meets two pair of eyes she thought she’d never see again… alive, at least.(ALTERNATE LINE FROM THE END OF CHAPTER 3 AND 4 OF THE GAME; Ashley wakes up in the temple, after falling through the trash chute, but knowing what will happen in the future).
