In Lossarnach, Vale of the Flowers is a small farming village where there lives a simple farmers daughter; Miraura. Spirited, sassy and defiant, Mira was known as the ‘Boyish Girl’ of the village and avoided by others for her ‘scandalous’ ways. As the War of the Ring ravages the land and the need for more abled fighters came - a man from each family of Lossarnach were called to arms; Including her crippled Father. Unable to let her Father battle in his condition, Mira does the unthinkable; She steals his armour and notice of war and goes in his place disguised as a man. But less skilled and abled than many of the others she is given a simple task; to escort Princess Ivriniel of Dol Amroth to Dunharrow in the White Mountains with a small group. But Mira is soon to find out that even the simplest of missions can call for the bravest of warriors and as she faces her task, Mira will also encounter danger, friendship and even love. The sequel to "No Hoof, No Horse" where after returning to Dunharrow after being sent away from Edoras Fréaláf speaks to his farrier about the difficulties he's faced. His farrier recommends some self-care, including seeking out company when things get too dark. Luckily for Fréaláf, his ex is still part of the éored at Dunharrow and they are on good enough terms to talk and cuddle. Ethelwine gets mentioned in Tenth Queen of Rohan and I decided to develop his character a little. Heavily inspired by showed_up_late_to_the_muster's incredible work about a couple within one of the éoreds that rode to war with Theoden.
