Again and again and again and again.        The only way that Tommy knew how to keep track of time was through the white streaks of hair, each one representing that of a different death. He didn't know how long it had taken for it all to be replaced. He didn't know how many more added to the transparency of it, waiting for the white to replace any blonde that he had had left. Any hope that he had had left.        He shouldn't have been surprised. He should have known not to get his hopes up. So then why did this feel right? Tubbo was his best friend, but he hadn't been there. Ranboo hadn't been there. It was him and him alone.        Looking through the looking glass, he hated how he was being treated as a doll. The same way that he had looked at him. But this felt familial. He wasn't being broken into bits and put together again until the owner became bored. He wasn't being tossed, no matter how hollow of a body he had become. He should feel relieved that they knew that he was here within the mirror.        But the caveat stayed by his side, and the feeling of dread that hung suspended and heavy in his heart wasn't leaving.

He had an airy feel about him, one that matched his appearance and one that invoked a strange kind of discomfort. “I bet it is,” the ghost giggled when Dream remained silent. His voice did echo as Ghostbur’s did, but not fully solid, either. Something you’d hear in a dream, maybe. “I can’t feel it. It’s great.” Dream’s mouth dried. He looked back to his frozen clothes. How long had he been scrubbing at them, anyway? How much more was needed? Maybe it was enough. Maybe he could leave already. Dream didn’t use to run away so much. Why was he here? Or, Dream tries to run away. A ghost keeps following him.
