Story Summary:Motivated by the cult's attempt to kidnap William, unable to deal any longer with an untenable situation, watched and observed and trapped in DC, Dana Scully makes a terrifying decision. When, hearing of what occurred, Mulder makes a last-ditch effort to communicate with her, to see if she and the baby are alright, Scully takes her chance, takes their baby... and goes on the run, to find him. What comes of this decision will, if successful, allow them to achieve what they only glimpsed for a short couple of days after William's birth. If they can manage it, Our Heroes might actually become something more than they were, perhaps change the outcome for their small family... even ultimately save the world.(Note: you could read this without reading Pt. 1, but you'd be functioning without some main mythology points.)

Story Summary:Back when I still had faith (along about TN1) I figured Scully had to leave sometime, right? Too dangerous in DC for the baby. So, of course, she's going to go straight-line to wherever Mulder is! And then we could finally learn what all the build-up was heading toward vis a vis William. Various unconscionably dropped but very useful threads are given new meaning here (hello, Rebels!). The Invasion will not be shoved to the back burner, either. My mission is to explore the various alien factions, while reinvesting William with his true destiny as Mulder and Scully's impossible, NATURAL child (CSM is NOT involved). Through him, we will reflect on what that means should he truly be the key to humanity’s salvation. Also, some old friends and enemies are brought back, because I hate how they’ve been tossed aside like used prophylactics!
