Backflip!! (Anime)
Slope Soaring

Ryoya stresses over the new choreography for regionals; also, he wonders what Futaba's favorite animal is. --- Ryoya knows, despite what Futaba thinks, that he’s not perfect. If he were perfect he wouldn’t be awake this late at night, listening to the soft melody of Futaba’s breaths across the room, head so full. Thoughts jarred, every so often, by the way his clock ticks, struck by the way he can hear it through the curtains. It reminds him that time passes differently here, in the real world. When he’s soaring, that arc lasts for an eternity. --- Or: Five times Ryoya thought he learned a new thing about Futaba, and one time Shotaro told him something new.
