Stage 4 — The New World Discovery Era (part 2)
by zcue
In a world where reality hides layers of unseen structure, stories do not remain local—they travel, mutate, and eventually become instruction. Flik, a disillusioned man who abandoned the capital after witnessing the collapse of its ideals, lives in solitude beneath northern pines—until rumor, ruin, and something older than history draw him back into motion. Estelle, an energetic and chaotic young seer-in-training, interprets hidden “orbs” beneath reality and bends truth through performance, mischief, and instinct. Tasked with guiding Flik, she uses carefully constructed deception to push him toward a destiny she only partially understands. Meanwhile, Cecile and Eugene move through Port Aurora, a rising frontier settlement where charm, perception, and rhythm become weapons of control, influence, and survival. From frozen forests to southern ports to a half-built frontier city, their stories begin to intertwine through patterns none of them fully control: fate, manipulation, perception, and the strange logic of a world where intention and outcome are never the same thing.
