Years of being stuck on the Boiling Isles has affected Luz in ways she never could have imagined, and while she's still adapting to all the good things she has in her life now even years later, it takes one of her trips back to the Human Realm to see her mom that really puts into perspective just how much she's changed and where she truly fits in. - A Luz Noceda character study based on a headcanon I came up with that assumes Luz is stuck on the Boiling Isles for at least a few years before she can return to the Human Realm and how it might affect her.
