It had been nearly 500 years since Charlie had traveled into the Anemo Archon’s land. He never bothered coming to Mondstadt, sure they hadn’t seen their god in about 1,000 years, but still. He simply didn’t know if he could handle possibly facing the god he used to love, the same god who destroyed his home 500 years ago. After he had tried to confront Barbatos their fight had happened, he’s lucky he didn’t die. Though at the same time he isn’t surprised that Barbatos avoided killing him. You might be wondering, why is he going to Mondstadt now? After 500 years of avoiding it? Well frankly, he's curious. He hears wonderful things about Mondstadt constantly yet no way to confirm said things, he also just wants to make sure Barbatos is really gone.₊˚ ✧ ━━━━⊱⋆⊰━━━━ ✧ ₊˚this is a yumeship fic between me and venti!! Charlie's work at the Angel’s Share was the same as always. The same routine of making drinks for customers until they got so drunk they couldn’t stand and then they had to get dragged out by their friends or their lovers. Except today was a bit special, it was the day the well-known bard Venti was playing at the tavern. Why is this special for Charlie you may ask? Well every time the bard came to the Angel’s share—which was a lot—he’d always make an effort to flirt with Charlie. Whether it be a wink during his performance or flat out calling him hot as he drank drink after drink. And well Charlie tried to act like it didn’t fluster the hell out of him, deep down he really liked the attention the bard gave him.

He hated parties, they were far too loud for his taste. Besides, he can rule perfectly fine on his own, even if his parents didn’t think so.
