It had been nearly 500 years since Charlie had traveled into the Anemo Archon’s land. He never bothered coming to Mondstadt, sure they hadn’t seen their god in about 1,000 years, but still. He simply didn’t know if he could handle possibly facing the god he used to love, the same god who destroyed his home 500 years ago. After he had tried to confront Barbatos their fight had happened, he’s lucky he didn’t die. Though at the same time he isn’t surprised that Barbatos avoided killing him. You might be wondering, why is he going to Mondstadt now? After 500 years of avoiding it? Well frankly, he's curious.
