For a minute, Souda’s not sure what the guy’s problem is, but these are all pretty rubbery, and like, uncomfortable. Tanaka’s kind of weird with textures. One time Kuzuryuu and Nidai got into an argument-- sort of, an argument, Souda doesn’t think Nidai was arguing, but Kuzuryuu sure was-- and ended up knocking over a pitcher of juice, and it had spilled on Tanaka, and Tanaka had been so upset that he had to go change right away.Which… that’s fine. Souda doesn’t care. On either end, he doesn’t care about judging Tanaka and he doesn’t care about paying attention. He reaches down for a pair of gloves himself, and briefly meets Tanaka’s two-coloured eyes as he straightens up.Tanaka averts his gaze first, and Souda looks down at the gloves in his hand, rubbing the back of his neck.---Souda and Tanaka do some volunteer work together while Sonia is absent.

Eventually, she shrugs. “I don’t mind,” she says, and she even slows her pace a little, so Naegi isn’t nearly jogging to keep up with her, which he appreciates, holding the umbrella up a little so it’ll cover the both of them. It’s hard, because Kirigiri is taller than him, but he manages! He’s okay. He’s doing just fine, actually.Naegi’s heart pounds a little bit heavily as they walk, as he sneaks the occasional glance at Kirigiri’s impassive expression. It’s not just because of his run. Though why in particular Momota feels like that, Amami really couldn’t… say, one way or the other, not unless he knew Momota really well, and he doesn’t. Any guesses he might make would just be speculation, really.Unless he got to know Momota better. The thing with getting to know people, though, is that it requires… mutual vulnerability. Amami isn’t so great at vulnerability. Less because he hates people knowing he has problems, more because he knows how they’ll respond, and he just doesn’t want to hear it.And! Being close to people means that he could lose them, which is not ideal.---The five times Momota refused to open up to Amami, plus the one time he did.
