“Uh— Phil?” The man calls over his shoulder, golden eyes never leaving Tommy’s face, “I need your help over here.” Tommy bares his teeth, wings fluttering threateningly. He doesn’t want the man to get help, he wants him to go away. Another man steps into view. This one is short and blonde, with wings a hundred times bigger than Tommy’s, and he’s dressed just as nice as the first man. He hasn’t seen Tommy yet; he’s looking at the big pink one. Mouth open like he’s going to speak. Tommy hisses again, louder this time. And the man's head snaps towards him— which doesn’t scare Tommy. He doesn’t shrink back, doesn’t try to tuck away his wings with a whine. Because he’s big. He’s big and scary; nothing is scarier than him and he knows it, because he says it. “Oh,” The man says softly, expression falling at his eyes dart across Tommy’s face. “Oh, mate.” - Or Tommy is a small little gooseboy who gets picked up by some bewildered ambassadors and their son. Shenanigans ensue.

This doesn’t make sense. It must be a trap, a way to gather them all in one building to make it easier to take them all. “I promise,” Technoblade insists, “It’ll be done by then. It’ll have blankets, food, good food, a warm space, even rooms eventually.” He takes a step forward, and Wilbur staggers back. He keeps Tommy cradled against his body.This can’t be real. It’s a trap. Technoblade is lying.-------Or, Wilbur has five kids (some of whom are magic), trust issues, fiercely loyal friends and a knife against a kingdom actively trying to conscript him or kill him by any means necessary. It's a good thing the Antarctic Empire is looking to expand its borders.

It had not mattered that he was merely eight years old when they sat him upon a throne nearly twice his size and deemed him their new King. What had mattered in the end was that the young King had led his nation to utter ruin, had stood by and watched as his citizens pounded bloody fists against the stone walls of his castle with pleas for salvation that he could not bring them. Tommy hadn't expected to open his eyes after feeling the pointed tip of a blade pierce through his chest, bringing an end to the reign of a tyrant. Had accepted his fate the moment the leader of the rebellion entered through those towering wooden doors with the sole purpose of killing a King that had failed his people.Yet Tommy finds himself waking on the day they placed a jeweled crown upon his head and deemed him their King at the mere age of eight, traveling six year into the past with a burning determination not to be used as a puppet once more. His first step though is winning over the heart of the man that he thought of as family, the very person who pushed a blade through his chest with tears stinging his eyes.

He’s been watching for so long, he’s been so diligent, yet the second he’s not watching, Tommy gets locked in prison with the monster who hurt him in the first place. Techno was right, Tommy couldn’t be left on his own, it was too dangerous. He should have acted sooner. - Techno's relationship with Tommy was complicated, he wasn't going to deny that. Despite this however the young blonde managed to endear himself to the anarchist anyway. Techno started to feel possessive over the boy and knew he needed to be protected. After a disastrous visit to Pandora's Vault, Techno realized that the boy wouldn't be safe anywhere on the SMP, and so whisked him away in hopes to keep Tommy safe. But not before adopting him as his own.
