Humanity is having trouble adjusting to the fact that monsters and magic exist outside of fiction, blissfully unaware of the danger their world has always been in. On the other hand, we have...Frisk, who after getting hunted down by a group of terrorists called WillBreakers RESET after RESET, has eventually decided to bunker down under Mt. Ebott with monsterkind, sick of having to watch their back as they SAVEd, in case they’re doomed to a fate of getting shot over and over until they RESET, alongside the long-dead child of the Dreemurrs keeping them company.Kris, who is not only possessed by an entity that has commited genocide, and is willing to make up for it, but they are also in a Symbiotic relationship with eachother, watching eachothers back whether they be facing magical or actual bullets.Meanwhile, several people in powerful positions have their eyes locked keenly on Frisk. Not because them coming out with the monsters has revealed the fact that magic exists to the public, not because they believe anything magical is a threat to humanity and must be exterminated, but because of their own reasons.Breaking the Barrier was only the beginning, and hopefully this timeline will be the end.

To say that today was a bad day would be the understatement of the century. It was horrible. Terrible. Awful. The worst day of your life, possibly. Which maybe wasn’t really that hard, because you have only been alive for three days, but you think your first worst day of your life shouldn’t suck as much as today did. By the end of it you just felt so exhausted and drained you barely even resisted Kris when they pulled you out of their body and threw you into that forsaken cage. You didn’t register when you hit the metal bars either, or maybe it’s just that Kris, too, had been too tired to treat you with all the hatred and aggression they usually directed at you. Whatever the case, the conclusion was the same: today just sucked. Badly. The Soul ponders about the events of the day.

Noelle has been a topic in Kris' brain since Red had appeared here. Every surface thought Red could glean from Kris, and the entire mental channel, filled with either the situation at hand, Susie, or Noelle. They decided it was high time they introduced themselves.

Objects continue to exist even if nobody can see, hear, or feel them. This is perhaps the most basic fact of life. Just because you can't see it, doesn't mean it can't still interact with the world. Doesn't mean it can't still cause problems. Or, the SOUL finds the right opportunity, and escapes from Noelle's home in search of sweet, sweet freedom. But how much trouble could a runaway heart-shaped object really get into anyway?

Kris has a heart to heart with Ralsei. Telling them about their soul, how it controls them. How it views all of this as a game. How they were all just characters in an RPG to it. Turns out, none of that was true.

Memories Red can't place. Longing for times that they cannot remember. Dreams that were a bit too close to real for comfort. A plan still looming overhead, and their friend-slash-puppet still won't say a thing. But it's fine! Everything is fine. Just keep messing around. The power of friendship will save the day! Right?
