Annabeth wakes up to wet sniffling in her ear.She sits bolt up, heart racing. She regrets it right after, wincing and cradling her throbbing head. Looking around, she takes in her surroundings. The waves had slammed her into the rocks. By all means, she should've drowned. How is she alive right now? Grover sits beside her in the sand, wagging his tail and sniffing at her apple.The apple she had left on the rock. Turning around, Annabeth sees her hoodie folded up underneath her like a pillow, and her bag of m&m's placed carefully upright in the sand. All the blue ones are gone, she realizes with a start. There are footprints in the sand, depicting a journey out of the water and over to where she lays. Someone carried her out of the water, some stranger saved her life - but how? There was no one around when she went in.Annabeth follows the footprint trail with her eyes.It leads back into the water. It will be a slow romance between Jason and Percy, but I felt that them going through something like this would bring them closer as friends, and later on would realize they see each other as more. I am rewriting this because I felt the last one had more holes in the story and I hoped I can rewrite it much better this time! Oh, also, Percy and Annabeth's relationship never happened romantically, it most definitely happened platonically, though. Piper and Annabeth will have a romantic relationship later on as well! Frank and Hazel stay the same because they are adorable. Leo and Calypso are not romantically interested into each other, instead Leo is aroace, and Calypso is cupidromantic (It's where one wishes to date/love, but simply cannot.) They are just friends, Leo still saves Calypso from the island, but not out of romantic love more of platonic love. Hope you enjoy!!
