Summary
There would, ordinarily, be a phrase on Alternia that speaks of the calm before the storm, and were there one, it would serve as the perfect metaphor for any number of things.
However, this being Alternia, there is never calm, not truly, and in some places in the northern reaches, storms are so common that it could be said that every calm is before some sort of storm. It is only a matter of how long.
One of these calms is when she finds him.
