Summary
"Don't make people into heroes John. Heroes don't exist and if they did I wouldn't be one of them."
Seems like Consulting Detectives aren't always right.
Basically John's life story, and how he met his personal heroes. Because when you go to career fairs, Army recruitment and Medicine don't generally go hand in hand. So how and why did John decide to be an army doctor? And how did he cope when he came home....
Sad in parts but with a happy ending.
