Summary
Obi-Wan had always known that Anakin would be the death of him.
Once Luke and Leia reunited, he had known they wouldn’t escape without Vader intercepting them. Fifteen years he’d prepared for this moment, ready to march away into the Force, but meeting his men again as themselves had changed things. He would not die here and now because of Vader and leave them again.
Anakin still might be the death of him though.
