Summary
In my "Durin's Line Endures" timeline, Thorin is preparing for the arrival of the Fathers of the other Six Dwarf Families, where they must give their support for Thorin to be able to proceed with a coronation. In the stillness of night, Thorin discusses with Balin the many things he has done wrong but Balin is quick to remind Thorin that he has done so much more right, especially by two slumbering princes.
