Izuku blinks.He doesn't quite register the punch until he's twenty feet away from her, crashing through the back wall of the apartment and on a direct path into a car. He tastes blood as he hits it; his impact curls the minivan in on itself. If he had been at anything less than twenty percent of One For All, he'd be dead right now.He struggles to catch his breath. Nobody's ever hit him that hard before. Not Kacchan, not Shoto, not Gentle, not even Muscular. Nobody. He tries to think of some bright side to all of this, maybe some quick joke to himself lighten his own overwhelming dread and fear over what just happened. But he can't. Because, he realizes as he gets his bearings, all of a sudden?Nothing's funny anymore.
