Dazai scoffed, but he continued to let Chuuya play with his hair. It felt good, and he wanted to continue to feel good.
“It was the only thing I could do.” He mumbled back, knowing that Chuuya could hear him.
Chuuya sighed, looking down at Dazai fondly. He managed to do something big enough as keeping himself clean. That was something there, and he was proud of him that he could go and do that.
“Still, I’m proud of you. I know how hard it can be to do that when you’re feeling like that Osamu.” He spoke, letting himself relax more and allow himself to use Dazai’s actual given name. It was hard sometimes, because Dazai was always Dazai to him.
