Summary
Geralt opened his eyes with a groan. The throbbing pain in his head grew stronger in response. Which wasn't surprising. After all, Geralt knew that his choices the night before would lead to a very unpleasant and painful awakening. What was not expected, however, was that the first thing his eyes fell on was Jaskier. Who was definitely not supposed to be there. But nonetheless, there the bard was, on the other end of the room, looking back at Geralt with those large blue eyes of his. "Fuck," Geralt muttered and wished that the bard were anywhere but here in this room with him. Geralt had thought his plan was solid. But the presence of Jaskier told him that he had gravely miscalculated.
