Summary
It felt liberating to be out here in the sun, in a courtyard utterly empty but for the two of them. No sneers or murmurings from unfriendly knights, no monks lurking around him in the hopes of catching him out doing something untoward. Dedue struggles to hold on to the past he holds so dear while carving out a space for himself in a new land. With the help of friends, the color gradually returns to his world.Or, Dedue puts down roots.
