Summary
When Miss Uchida heard about Hiyori being bullied by a militant LIP X LIP fan, she took steps to ensure the younger girl's safety. One of those was to officially declare Hiyori the pair's manager apprentice.
The thing was, if they did it the wrong way, bringing attention to Hiyori's existence would only make things worse for her. They had to make sure that Hiyori was not perceived as a viable romantic interest to LIP X LIP in any way.
So, Hiyori was told to take pictures with a fake partner and post the pictures on social media, in order to show that she was already taken and spoken for.
