James McCrimmon has, for the past seven years, been a devoted, doting father to his daughter; though content with his life as it is, he can’t deny that single fatherhood can get quite lonely. Rose Tyler is simply trying to make the best of a bad situation; after the untimely death of her boyfriend, she moves to the countryside of England to give her children (and herself) a fresh start.
