hey, dad (wait, not you, the other one)

The Izuku Midoriya from exactly one year ago wouldn’t have ever been able to imagine how things would turn out in the future. After all, not many could expect themselves to become All Might’s successor and actually inherit his quirk. But most importantly, the Izuku Midoriya from one year ago would never begin to fathom the extremely unfortunate series of events that led to present-day Izuku finding himself on the receiving end of one of Aizawa-sensei’s nastiest glares at 11 PM after accidentally texting him the secret of One For All, panicking, and then trying to steal his phone to delete said text.Although to be fair, even the present version of himself is still struggling to piece together how exactly he ended up there as well.
