Summary
A few months have passed since the incident in summer and things were actually looking up for Izuku. He got another pet, a new friend, and his father was about to visit for the holidays after not being home for almost five months. And then the universe decided that things were going too well and promptly dropped the biggest bombshell possible on the eight-year-old's life.Entrusted with a responsibility he has no idea how to fulfill nor the confidence to think himself worthy of it, Izuku will be forced to confront many obstacles on his road to Avatar-hood. From new enemies and struggles to the scars left on him from time's past.
