剑无鞘 (sword without scabbard)

It is not the furious footfalls of the Ghost Valley Master who walks through the cell door. Nor the feather-light tread of his reticent, collected companion, who called himself the leader of a once-extinct sect. Neither was it the confident stride of the ageless Sword Immortal of Changming Mountain disdainfully eying the petty squabbles of the secular world from on high. It was not the heavy plod of Shen Shen, newly anointed leader of one of the greatest martial arts sect alliances in the history of jianghu. A man who aspired for brotherhood rather than power, and yet was left with the latter rather than the former. Fate was cruel like that. No, the steps that make their way into the cell are nimble, with the sprightly step of youth."Raise your head, Sect Leader Fan Huaikong." Zhang Chengling says.Fan Huaikong does not raise his head.
