Summary
His stomach twists and turns, the muscles in the back of his throat strain, because everything had gone wrong that could've gone wrong and there is nothing left to do about it. He hesitates as he sees the reflection of his pathetic, sad face in the windshield from the light of his phone and it crumbles him back into his seat. If he had to say something now, what would he even say?
