Summary
She knew there was a neurological explanation. She knew that logically, this could all be chalked up to her nervous system trying to readjust to Earth’s oxygen, gravity, sounds, tastes. She also knew that she was excellent at convincing herself that she didn’t belong here. That she should be back there, alone in some cold purgatory, forever trying to escape, never able to find her way home. If she deserved to be home, then she’d feel it. She’d feel lucky to be back, just glad to have the luxuries of home back, to be safe with Bobbi, and Daisy, grateful to be alive. She would. If alive didn’t taste so bitter. -------------------------------------A skimmorse post Maveth hurt/comfort fic in which Jemma is sorta obsessed with getting back to Maveth because she believes that she deserves to suffer after hallucinating Hive :)(honestly this is really kinda dark I'm sorry)
