The state of the kingdom has been getting progressively worse for years, especially since the military coup ousted the true rulers of Inarizaki. Ever since the ruling family disappeared from their kingdom, Rintarou feels like he’s been living in the haze of a dream. When he’s betrothed to the leader of the tengu as a political move, Rintarou isn’t surprised. It doesn’t matter that the leader of the tengu is already married. It doesn’t matter that Rintarou is still, technically, betrothed to Osamu— if Osamu is still alive somewhere, that is. He accepts his fate as it is, relishing in his escape from the hell that Inarizaki has been.But, well. The tengu kingdom isn’t at all what he expected, certainly.
