Summary
Song began to expect him. At the beginning of every month, the Avatar would visit her small town, occasionally bringing a guest with him. He’d lend a hand with treating patients for at least 24 hours, and then he’d be gone. Maybe with a wink, or a gentle touch of her shoulder. Once, he’d disappeared with a chaste kiss to her forehead.
But he could never stay.
