Summary
If he ran away, Ares would be free, but his life would be lonely, so he kept coming back for more cruel remarks from his father and indifference from his mother. Lack of sympathy from most of his siblings. But time spent with Dio and Hermes almost made it worth it. Only with them, Ares could feel like a human. Someone who could joke and laugh and even cry sometimes. If there was someone out there for him, maybe Ares could give it a chance, but the world let him know enough times that no one would look at him like Ariadne looked at Dionysus. No woman would stand his company and when Ares as much as glanced at his parents he knew he didn't want a forced union like theirs. Sometimes Ares wondered if he wasn't cursed. While the cycle of his escapades and coming back home continued as always, something was destined to break it.Ares could be full of doubts, but Fates still had something for him, whether he liked it or not.
