A Prince's Pride

“Now to take this annoying dress off…”

”And then what? Cheat on your beloved Kamukura-kun with an outlaw?” Kokichi sits on Shuichi’s desk next to his walk-in closet, makeup and perfume bottles surrounding him. His old clothes were soaked, but he refused to put on any other garments. Not that there was anything he’d like to wear from the Saihara family, anyway. So here he is- dowsed in water and a leaf hanging from his hair to accompany specks of dirt on his face, wearing an odd white uniform with a scarf.

”What?! No!!” Walking into the closet, Shuichi’s flustered voice becomes muffled as he closes the door. “I just… you just- it’s you, Ouma-kun. It’s been forever, and I haven’t heard anything about your well-being in the past eight years.” Other than the fact that he became the leader of an organization named D.I.C.E, he really didn’t know anything. Putting on a white T-shirt and grey shorts he keeps hidden in the back, he enters the room again. Kokichi’s moved to the other side of the room, to the right of his bed, and is looking through the top drawer of an oak nightstand.

”Then I guess you’re the same, gullible Saihara-chan.”
