Summary
She should be grateful, she reminded herself. Her father was alive and she had not been deposed, both possibilities which had been avoided due only to the Warden's intervention. It was appeasement in its basest form: keep Anora placated by sparing her father, keep Eamon and his supporters from continuing a devastating civil war by putting Alistair on the throne, and keep stability in Ferelden by letting Anora remain in a figurehead position. The safest decision to benefit the most people. She respected the Warden's political finesse if not its ramifications.Anora knew that life was rarely fair, but the injustice still stung.
