He loved the feeling of content and love that he felt whenever he was around them. Now with the Wilson’s in his life it made it much harder for Bucky to travel for his tours. He was always reluctant to leave Sarah and the boys, worrying that he would miss them too much (which he always did). He’s never had this before––a family, a woman that he loved, two pseudo sons that he adored more than anything––this life was something that he always sullenly dreamed of having. Now that he’s finally got it he never wanted to be without them again.  —bucky’s return home makes him realize how lucky he is.
