Complex

"AJ?" He says again, and a flash of recognition crosses across AJ's face, but he still doesn't respond. He hadn't spoken since he and Sam had picked them both up from school, but he looked happy when he climbed into the truck. Now, he looks almost scared. Of what, Bucky doesn't know. "Are you gonna kill my mom?" AJ suddenly says, voice quivering, and still staring out the window. Sam slams on the brakes as Bucky tries his best not to curse, or cry, or both. OR: There isn't exactly a child-friendly way to explain what happened to Bucky, but when Bucky realizes he's going to have to at least give a gist to the boys, Sam brings up a certain Disney movie to help guide the conversation along.
