Yashahime Drabbles: Wielding Tenseiga

My goal is to do a drabble for every episode of Yashahime season 2. Starting off 'Wielding Tenseiga' and focussed on Sesshomaru.

Setsuna’s death would forever be on his conscience as he failed Rin in protecting their daughters. He had been the one to give chase to Zero to kill her and end Rin’s misery. He was going to allow Rin to die alone.

How wretched he was. He had acted impulsively only thinking of Rin’s slow torture over the past decade. An endless sleep, her life bound to Zero’s and the second butterfly connecting her to their daughter, taking her dreams to keep Setsuna awake so that she may never be found again by Zero through her dreams.

He wondered if Rin was disappointed in him. He had chosen her misery over the safety of their daughters and the results were devastating. He lost Zero in the clouds. His impulsive action led to Setsuna’s death and Towa pushing herself to her limits, forcing her demonic energy to forge the blade to extend in energy for Tenseiga, her hair matching Setsuna’s, matching their mother’s dark brown colour.
