The man with his hat in his hands

A masquerade aboard the Black Whale brings Illumi and Hisoka together. Masks are donned, shed and shattered.“The sound of a bow dragged too hard over string produces a sound harsh and tinny; a solitary thread snaps, a break in the flow of music. And Hisoka’s fingers freeze and tighten around Illumi’s throat. But for a moment.Illumi’s sharpened claws make tiny rips in Hisoka’s shirt. The rhythm of their bodies is interrupted, the spell is broken. A moment is enough.”
