Obi-Wan made it halfway up out of bed before groaning in misery. The room heaved and tossed around him and he almost threw up right then and there from the pain in his head; something about being up made it all ten times worse. He collapsed back into bed and stuffed his head under a pillow to block out the light creeping in under his blinds. Qui-Gon must have left, then. Obi-Wan pushed down the flicker of hopelessness at the thought. He’d thought—well, it didn’t matter what he thought. Qui-Gon likely had other, better things to do than to waste time with a sick Padawan. Padawans got sick all the time, after all, and Obi-Wan was nothing special—
