Gathering Courage

This is a one shot between Alisaie and her warrior of light. There are no spoilers as it doesn't explore any MSQ. Alisaie has always struggled with her inexperience. Every opportunity she has ever had to further the relationship with Tarquin ended up with her running as if the seven hells were after her. Now as she stared down at the sleeping warrior, she wondered if her mother was right, that she was not ready for something this intense. Little did she know, but her fear, something she often used to fuel her courage, would cause a rift with the one person she held as close as her brother. Could she gather her wavering courage quick enough to make the leap?
