Some Kind of Home

Ten uses his shapeshifting abilities like any poor college kid would—by turning into a cat to beg for free food from humans. He never expected to get taken home by a broken boy, nor had he planned on not wanting to leave. But figuring out how to tell Johnny that he's his new pet is somehow not Ten's biggest problem, not even when you consider that Johnny might hate him just like all humans do when he learns that Ten is an Other. There are bigger things at stake, and the closer that Ten gets to Johnny, the more he realizes that something dark is festering behind all of those gentle smiles. If he doesn't use his time as both a cat and a human wisely, then not just Johnny but the whole world as Ten knows it might be in danger.
