Miya Atsumu, a journalist looking for love, pitches story ideas to a primary editor at Aoba magazine—which does not go well. On the way out, Atsumu tells Oikawa about his lengthy check-list and how hard it is to find the right man, which leads to Oikawa assigning Atsumu the task of joining the business world to find a guy who checks all the criteria of his list. Atsumu sabotages his way into getting an administrative assistant position in the Corporate Strategic Planning department of a big investment firm. He is to work for Sakusa Kiyoomi, Managing Director, who is with absolutely no respect, an asshole.One night, he and his best friend Suna bump into Terushima at a bar, and he is immediately impressed, having most of the qualities on his checklist. He goes on a date with Terushima and is seriously interested. But he also has a previously planned date with Kuroo, a co-worker, but he isn’t Terushima. The real problem is that Oikawa told Atsumu to date only businessmen in suits, which Terushima is not. Oikawa tells Atsumu to focus on Kuroo, but Atsumu decides to continue seeing Terushima, while using Kuroo’s name in his article.But is Terushima the only guy who has everything Atsumu wants?
