Stealth Run

Apollo could just fly and Starbuck could just fly. They’d been trained, but they didn’t need anyone to foster that rhythm of effort and coasting aerodynamics. Kara and Zak had a natural breaking point where his younger brother’s interest in the fleet would wane and his relationship would follow into breaking down. Kara and Lee felt like an idea stretching into the universe without the need for a route calculated. They could guess their jumps in tandem, because they had a part of their souls exactly the same. Takes place in a slightly luckier world, where Zak completes his flight training and has to plan his future. His brother disagrees with his vision.
