Summary
"He was trying to skip rocks on the ocean, saying to me: Don't you see the starlight? Don't you dream impossible things?"-Taylor Swift, Starlight "Come help me look for rocks, I've been practicing skipping them at the pond near Blackmore House." He looked dubiously out at the ocean. "You do realize that you can't skip rocks on moving water? Have you not noticed the waves?" Looking at her face, Gilbert knew she was about to say something that would make him fall a little more in love with her. "Oh Gilbert, don't you ever dream impossible things?" He remembered how only a year ago, he had thought that simply being with her like this was an impossible dream. That was entirely to corny a thing to say at this moment though, so instead he decided to crack a joke. "As you said earlier, I'm a man of science." Despite this, he found himself helping her search for rocks, if only so he could enjoy teasing her when it didn't work. AKAAnne and Gilbert being sarcastic teenagers but also being cute and in love at the beach
