Summary
“A power outage?” Tom asked.
“From eight to eleven every night—just for a few days.” Tord spoke, lounging on their couch. “Something to do with fixing the power lines or something.” Tord mumbled, scratching his neck. “Tonight’s the first night.”
Tom stared at Tord and his stupid calm brown eyes, shining like ambers in the harsh light as Tom flashed the emergency flashlight at him. Tom raised his brow, his mouth twisted with disbelief as he stared back at Tord’s nonchalant gaze.
“You couldn’t have told me sooner when I wasn’t in the middle of showering?” Tom asked, his hair dripping water onto the damp towel around his shoulders. He could hear the remaining foam from his shampoo cracking and popping behind his ears as he spoke. “How am I supposed to finish in the dark?”
Tord innocently smiled, his lashes low as he sipped his coke.
Tom felt his head spin, lightheaded, as he remembered why he hated this guy so much.
