Summary
Harry Potter is five years old. It is August 1985, almost four years since Albus Dumbledore left a one year old Harry on the doorstep of the Dursley family home. Deciding it was time to peek at how Young Harry is fairing with the Dursleys, Albus sends Professor Minerva McGonagall to check on him. Imagine his surprise when he gets a missive from his Deputy Headmistress detailing how she is now the legal Guardian of one Mr. H.J Potter. The Headmasters' decidedly well thought out plan seems to need a little adjusting in his opinion. Watch as Harry grows to be a powerful wizard and more than just a pawn in Dumbledore’s game of chess, with the guiding help and love of one of Hogwarts finest professors.
