Summary
Over the next month or so, Buck brings up the ghost occasionally, but only to Eddie. They’re brushing their teeth at the sink together (and Eddie is furiously reminding himself that this is normal for friends, that it doesn’t mean that Buck is his life partner or whatever, just his close friend, and it doesn’t mean anything-) when Buck spits, rinses his mouth out with water, then says, “By the way, did you notice the hallway light flicker last night?”
Eddie spits out his own mouthful of toothpaste. “No.” Buck sighs dramatically. Before he can say anything else, Eddie says, “Old house, Buck. Probably just weird wiring. I’ll call an electrician.” “An electrician is not going to fix a ghost infestation, Eddie.” “Infestation? I thought it was one ghost? Singular.” Buck shrugs. “So you’re admitting there’s at least one?” “You are impossible.”or, Eddie's house is haunted.
